Guest Experiences
In 2023 Ellerton Hall hosted family breaks and friends reuniting from different counties throughout the UK to celebrate milestone birthdays.
Our guests enjoyed quality time together exploring classic country walks, competing on the tennis court, and playing croquet on the lawn.
The hot tub was used to soak the day away with a glass of fizz whilst star gazing with good company.
When it was time to cosy up inside there were board games played in the morning room warming up in front of the wood burner and movies watched in our high tech cinema room.
Many organised a chef to cook a 2 or 3 course meal for a special occasion and dined in our formal dining room. Dressing up in formal dinner wear with a toast of champagne on the staircase seemed to be a popular theme amongst our guests.
During the year, our head gardener Peter, kept busy cutting fresh flowers from our garden to be placed in our vases and displayed throughout the house for our guest to enjoy.
CHARITY EVENTS
John and Lucy, owners of the hall hosted two charity events this year which were a great social event and huge success.
In July we partnered with Cancer Research UK Newport who organised an Ella Cru Shopping Event. There were over 150 people who attended, and the team raised £1000. Our guest enjoyed shopping, socialising over a glass of fizz and admiring the hall’s interior design and spectacular rooms. The day was your typical British weather, rain and gusty winds which proved to be challenging for car parking, but John and Paul managed to make it all work.
In November we hosted a Tanners Wine & Moydens cheese tasting event to raise monies for Lingen Davies Cancer Fund and Stroke Association. The event sold out at 100 tickets and those who attended had the opportunity to explore the hall, taste some amazing cheeses and certainly made the most of all the red and white wines to be tasted. The event was a great social enjoyed by all and raised £1000 for each charity.
