As the only UK location to be featured – we’re thrilled that our beautiful county has been recognised on a global scale. Described as a ‘rural gem’, Shropshire has everything from UNESCO World Heritage Sites, areas of outstanding natural beauty, and the best-preserved steam train network in England. Visit Ironbridge Gorge, the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution, or a day out in Shrewsbury’s Wyle Cop which has the longest uninterrupted run of independent shops anywhere in the country. The town has independent shops, galleries, and a well-known indoor market. Shrewsbury Market Hall is packed with quirky businesses and food stalls and has been voted Britain’s Favourite Market. |

If staying close by is your ideal short break, you will be pleased to know there are many local activities that can be enjoyed on our doorstep. We offer Clay pigeon shooting for groups on our estate. We have partnered with Game On who are experienced organisers of prestige shooting events. |
If its fly fishing you enjoy, there are two very good fishing pools local to Ellerton Hall. One is trout and the other coarse. Tickets can be arranged for our guests. We also have our own 2-acre coarse pool stocked with some good size carp which can be fished at certain times of the year.
Discover Ellerton Hall’s 2.5-acre grounds, set up a tennis tournament on your very own all-weather court, challenge the children to a croquet game, or simply sink into the hot tub and soak up the views.
